Joaquín Gómez Moya
More than 20 years of experience as CEO in pioneering technology firms where he has launched new technologies and devices on an internationally scale across diverse science-based fields.
He has participated in international missions and advised several governments and pharmaceutical multinationals as an expert on technology valorization. MBA from IEDE, Diploma in Business Sciences, UNED, with several master's degrees in International Business Management, Ignite from Cambridge University.
Dr. Pablo Pelegrín Vivancos
Doctor in Immunology and graduate in Biology. Deputy scientific director at the IMIB. Professor of Immunology at the UMu as “María Galindo” distinguished researcher. World scientific reference in inflammasomes.
Awarded the Tokyo University of Science President’s Medal. Editor and co-author of the handbook Inflammasome Biology. Publications in Cell, Immunity or Nature Immunology, among others.
Toni Vilaplana Vivancos
More than 20 years of experience as a senior manager in various industries and more than 10 as a financial and strategic consultant, lawyer and interim manager.
Lawyer and MBA from IESE, several specialization master's degrees (Business Valuation, Private Equity, Business Angel, Investment Management, Controller and real estate companies from IESE; Mergers and Acquisitions from ENAE; MBA Digital Business and Business IT Certification Program from IEBS).
Dra. Verónica Cánovas
Doctor in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. International researcher, in her last stage she was at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute, Barcelona.
Experienced in the implementation of strategic R&D lines, she has been responsible for biotechnology projects in technology-based companies and technology centers, within the European Horizon 2020 program.
Pablo González Polanco
Biomedical Engineer specialized in Biomechanics and Microfluidics, with experience in the design of implants and instruments for spine surgeries.
He participated in the development of microfluidic systems for mixing blood and reagents at Massachusetts General Hospital (United States). obtained his M.S. in biomedical engineering at the Neuromotor Control Lab in Marquette University.
María del Carmen Baños
Coming from the Molecular Inflammation Group of the IMIB, where she has worked for the last 10 years.
Also with international training, she was a Laboratory Technician in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Manchester, she has completed a Postgraduate Degree in Biological Cultures and Animal Experimentation, as well as the Master's Degree in Clinical Trials.
María Fuensanta Martínez Lozano
Expert in health and scientific communication, 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, Director of the Foundation for Health Training and Research of the Region of Murcia (FFIS). Graduate in Philosophy, Psychology and Business Sciences at UMu, Master in Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Diploma from UCAM.
